Happenings

A little trip to an awesome lakehouse in Alabama where our bean turned 11 months old (and I turned 24 weeks preggo).
a little exploring.

a little sass.
a little basking in the last few falling fall leaves.
a little swinging with grandpa.
a little hiking and waterfall sightseeing (maybe we should not have had her first waterfall sighting be Niagara Falls).
a little hiking siesta on daddy's back.
a little teeth growing.
a little cheesing with friends.
a little festival going.
a little unwanted massage.
a little climbing.
a little toy swimming.
a little christmas tree decorating.

CB got her first two teeth. The event was preceded by a couple weeks of rough napping and mommy attachment and just over-all "offness."  That's what Steve and I kept saying, "she's off."  She also had a cold that I so graciously shared with her and the combo made her a little extra needy, and me a lot extra happy when she started acting like our Charlie Belle again.  She signs "more" and can sign "all done" and "milk," but she does "more" a lot more often then the other two.  She says "wow" and "woah" and "daddy" and "mama" and what sounds like "doggy," which she seems to say appropriately when she sees the dog.  She now pats Otter and it's so cute, Otter tolerates it well.  She had the hardest time learning how to get down after she stood up and is still extra cautious when it comes to sitting from standing, and would much prefer us to do it for her (maybe that is why she had the hardest time :-)).  She is happily cruising around furniture and pushing her activity table all over the carpet, the activity walker seems to intimidate her with its speed.  It's crazy how fast she is changing and I can't believe we almost have a 1 year old!

A lot of missing and remembering this amazing grandma bear...

...this dancing, christmas-loving, song-making, snuggling, cracker-freezing, wack-a-moling, suprise-giving, Jesus-lovin grandma bear.  Trying to replicate her snuggles so Charlie Belle will know more than a picture.
